|   | Q: What is the difference between the Auger Mover and the RoundAbout ? |   |
|   |
A:
The only difference is the wheels turn into an arc position for moving the auger in a circle.
The auger can be placed between two bins and then moved in an arc to one bin and then to the next bin without moving the bottom end of the auger. The RoundAbout also works very well in a grain handling system where the bins are set up in a semi-circle. With a forty foot auger a rail car can be filled by only moving the auger once. Start on one end of the car and move the auger in a semi-circle until you get past the middle then the auger has to be moved to the other end of the car. With a fifty foot auger the hole car can be filled with out moving the bottom end of the auger. When ordering tell us what auger it is going on, make and model of winch and also make and model of engine. (See Mover FAQ for more information). |
