Q: Will the Power Pack fit all augers?

A: Yes the Power Pack will fit most augers. The pump mount is set up at the factory for augers with gear box pulley on the right-hand side ( standing at the bottom end of auger looking toward top end of auger). For augers with the pulley on left side, pump mount can be changed over by removing one bolt and turning mount over and putting bolt back in.

Q: What GPM & PSI is the pump?

A: 7-GPM & up to 3000 PSI, however the pump only needs to put out 1000 PSI or less to run the sweep.

Q: How much Horse Power does it take to run the sweep?

A: About 5 Horse Power is needed to run a sweep in a 18' bin. Here is a rule of thumb if you have enough power to run your auger when unloading your truck into a tall bin you will have enough power to load a truck and run the sweep. Here are some examples 16 HP engine on a 7" x 40' auger, 20 HP on a 8" x 40' and 24 HP on a 8" x 45' and a 8" x 52'.

Q: What information is needed when ordering?

A: Indicate the make and size of auger, also make and size of engine and crank shaft size.

Q: What comes with the Power Pack?

A: Pump, universal pump mount with a belt tightener, belt guard (when belt is loose belt guard hold's belt in place so belt won't burn), 4 gallon steel tank, 10 micron oil filter (keeps oil clean and sludge free in winter), Pioneer type breakaways and enough hydraulic hose to run the sweep on your auger.
